At Blaney Baptist Church, we exist to glorify God by knowing Him through His Word and making Him known through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Every ministry and message centers on the authority of Scripture and the transforming power of the Gospel.

We affirm the Baptist Faith and Message (2000) as our statement of faith.

Christ at the Center

Everything we are and everything we do flows from the good news of Jesus Christ. His life, death, and resurrection are not just part of our message—they are our message. We seek to proclaim this truth clearly, live it faithfully, and let the hope of the gospel shape every area of ministry. The gospel is not only what saves us; it is what sustains and unites us.
God’s Truth as Our Foundation

We stand on the unshakable truth of Scripture. The Bible is God’s authoritative Word—breathed out by Him, sufficient for all matters of faith and life, and relevant for every generation. We don’t adjust God’s Word to fit our world; we allow His Word to transform our hearts, renew our minds, and direct our steps.

We believe that following Jesus means more than belief—it means transformation. Our goal is not just to make converts but to make disciples who follow Jesus daily, obey His commands, and help others do the same. Through intentional relationships, teaching, and spiritual growth, we walk together as lifelong learners of Christ.
Living Sent for God’s Glory

God’s heart beats for the world, and so does ours. We live as people sent on mission—to our neighborhoods, our city, and the nations. Whether across the street or across the ocean, we desire to make Christ known and to see His glory spread everywhere. We serve, give, and go so others may find the same hope we have in Jesus.
Doing Life Together

We were never meant to walk the Christian life alone. True discipleship happens in the context of relationships where people encourage, challenge, and support one another. We pursue authentic community marked by love, grace, accountability, and shared mission—celebrating together in joy and standing together in hardship.
Leading by Serving

Jesus redefined greatness through humility and service. We believe leadership begins with a towel, not a title. From the platform to the parking lot, every role matters, and every act of service glorifies God. We lead like Jesus—by putting others first and meeting needs with willing hearts.
Depending on God in All Things

Prayer is not our backup plan—it’s our lifeline. We seek to be a people who pray first, trust deeply, and expect God to move. We pray for our church, our community, and the nations, believing that God works powerfully when His people humble themselves and call on His name.
